Built for every brain

Accessibility Statement

Myndfold was built by someone with ADHD, misophonia, and APD — so accessibility isn’t a checkbox for us. It’s the whole point.

We are pre-launch and actively developing the app. Our commitment is that every feature we ship will be evaluated against the needs of the neurodivergent community. Where we fall short, we want to know — and we will fix it.

Visual
  • High contrast dark theme designed to reduce eye strain
  • Large text support throughout the app — no tiny labels
  • Color is never used as the only way to convey meaning
  • Clear iconography paired with text labels
Cognitive
  • ADHD-aware design: reduced clutter, focused views, and chunked information
  • Low cognitive load — one primary action per screen wherever possible
  • Absolutely no shame-based UI (no streaks that punish, no guilt language)
  • Gentle, optional notifications — never urgent or alarming by default
Motor
  • Large touch targets throughout — minimum 44 × 44 px on all interactive elements
  • Full keyboard navigation support on web
  • No time-pressured interactions required to complete any task
Sensory
  • Misophonia-safe sounds: every notification uses a curated, low-irritation audio library — no clicks, no sharp tones, no mouth sounds
  • Per-notification sound control so you can silence anything that bothers you
  • APD-aware (Auditory Processing Disorder): no audio-only instructions — every piece of information is available visually
  • Visual-first communication throughout the app and all onboarding flows
  • Motion can be reduced across all animations to support vestibular sensitivities
